Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

The Responsible Wool Standard is a voluntary certification scheme that ensures full traceability across the wool supply chain, requiring certification of every stage from the farm level through to the final business-to-business sale.

Under RWS, wool producers such as farmers and ranchers are assessed based on defined criteria covering animal welfare practices, responsible land management, and social compliance requirements.
